To celebrate Crystal and Michelle's 40th birthday, a group on 21 of us went on the 4-day Carnival Cruise to Ensenada. It was great to have so many friends and family joining in the celebration.

We began by getting to the cruise early, around 1pm and let the festivities begin. This vacation was more about being together and simply being ON vacation than it was about the destination.

Right after the lifeboat drill, our first private cocktail party began in the Rock N Roll room. A DVD that Crystal's Uncle David helped put together played with great music and memories. The cocktails at the open bar continued to flow and the Birthday Girl Special I created (malibu, cherry Skyy vodka, pineapple and cranberry) were enjoyed while visiting, dancing and getting the cruise off to a great start.

Saturday, some of us got off the ship at Ensenada and spent our time at a local bar enjoying cheap drinks and souvenirs. After we returned to the ship, it was time for a quick nap and shower before the formal night.

Sunday, was a mellow day since someone on the ship was seriously ill and needed to be rushed back to Long Beach. There were people all over the ship getting sick. We played Bingo and napped. Necole (also celebrating her birthday) won a future cruise for 2!

Our second, private cocktail party began at 5pm and we enjoyed this where the comedy shows are held. A huge cake marked the occasion and the Birthday Girl Cocktails were flowing again.

This cruise was definitely about good friends, fun and just celebrating! A good time had by all! :)
